Spartan tuners

I ordered a spartan tuner for a 6.4 with 350 hp tunes last week. $1250 bucks. I get it an its not even programmed to do egr deletes. So i call to find out what i need to do. Guy said get serial number vin an stradegy an call right back an we will take care of you. I call back An the women answers the phone an was carrying on a personal conversation in the back ground for nearly a minute before i said "excuse me ma'am" She responded "yeah" i told her i just spoke to a man an told her what i was told to do an she said well i cant help you, your gonna need to email tech support. She procedded to call me a "lil Fu**@# " an hung up on me. So needless to say i will never be doing business with spartan again. An there tuners are nothing of what ud expect. Sorry to rant just thought id share maybe save someone some aggravation

Thats weird everyone at spartan has always been very nice to me and helped me in every way they could. And for you're EGR delete tunes i believe you have to have a level 3 license or just update it online its very fast and easy.

EGR delete tunes come with Spartan now. Check out there website and download the tunes you need. I personnally love the 210 tow performance late lockup tune. Allows me to pull my huge fiver around and drive the truck unloaded on the same tune.

There is obviously more to this story......

She called you a "lil ******" out of left field? And the spartan tunes ARE egr delete....there are like 4 choices per HP level. egr on/off and TC lock up early/late..

Oh, and the dashdaq is pretty much the best tuner (depending who you ask) other than HS you can get.... Id like to know what you were expecting??

I responded to this same thread on another forum:

Spartan diesel - PowerStrokeNation : Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

We don't have a female that works in our office. I am not sure who you spoke with or why the conversation went as it did.

Our EGR delete tunes are on our website. All you have to do is log-in and download them.

There is no egr on/off options. An i understand they can be downloaded, you would just think with the race tunes they would be ready kinda aggravating... An believe what you'd like, but i assure you i have better things to do then make up this story.

I'm pretty sure if you run the 275hp+ there is no egr delete but for lower tunes you have to down load them, because not every one runs a egr delete yet, ounce you have you're truck running you won't be disappointed with the tuning that spartan diesel provides
