Looking at 08 F-250 supercab 4x4's, new to 6.4's...

I just sold my 07 Dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins and looking to get an 08-09 F-250 6.4 4x4. I'm looking at other Dodges as well, but I found some good deals on 6.4 trucks with about 100k on the odo. I'm wondering how reliable these trucks are since they do not look as easy to work on as my Cummins. I plan on doing an H&S black maxx, intake, exhaust (dpf delete), and EGR delete. I don't want to run the truck too hard since it will be my daily driver. Any advice is appreciated.

Also, what kind of mpg do these trucks get before and after mods?

they are as reliable as you are at maintaining them, if you take care of them i have heard of them lasting many miles. the mods will be good for truck longevity. mpg pre mods avg 13-14, post mods 17-18

I have found mine to be the most reliable truck I have owned, even more reliable than my 7.3, this is just what i have seen, fuel economy sucks, im tuned deleted and getting 13 city 17 hwy, but it is insane crazy power, and a good looking truck to boot.
