Rear brakes
Had my truck inspected, 2010 with 36k and it needed rear brakes yet fronts were ok. Question why did my rears go before the fronts.....fronts are still stock. Usually on cars the fronts go twice as fast as rears. Any ideas? Thanks

Sticky caliper/slide pins? I dont think we have a Proportioning valve so id guess thats the most likely cause?

I don't know if my brakes were original but since I have owned my truck I have only needed to replace the rears, the fronts have plenty left.

Huh, nothing is sticking, might just be that rears are that much thinner. Front were still rated as "excellent". Fine by me :-)

I have an '09 with similar mileage and was told after my 36,000 mile service that I'd need new pads next service. The Ford report card said "rear brakes getting low" in the comments section. Doesn't mention anything about my front brakes. To be more specific, I had 6mm on the front brakes and 4mm on the rears.
