08 with bullydog, defueling problem

Does anyone have a 6.4L 2008 with a Bullydog tuner on their truck. If so do you have any problems with the pyro 1 exaust temp reaching over 1250 degress and then defueling the truck. I usually drive the truck in the performance mode so when it defuels it reduces it to tow mode then stock mode until the degrees get back to normal. It seems to be getting to this temperature quite often therefore reducing my mileage. Anybody else experiecing a similar problem...any ideas?

Ideas... get rid of the bullydog

I cannot help you to the nature of your problem, I have SCT on my 08. Do you still have the dpf on the truck? I know when I first got my SCT I was running it as gauges only until my delete pipe came in, and it would easily get over 1300* stock pulling a hill in regen.
