Value of 08 f-250
How much do y'all think a 2008 f-250 king ranch diesel 4x4 super crew short bed, copper/tan bottom, factory 20's. 50,500 miles. Navigation and sunroof, brand new bfg all terrains. Real clean truck. Warranty is almost up but can put more on. What is it worth? Thanks

For a supercrew with those miles id say 27-28 maybe? Just throwing that out there.

15 months ago.. i got one exactly the same options you did with the same mileage just a different color.. i got it for 35ish if i remember correctly.. so i would say high 20's in the 28-29 range.. i haven't been actively looking lately at used trucks.. so i dont know for sure.. just throwing it out there like nlcougar said.

Have you ran kbb value on it with the options?
35's will run about $1200 and batteries about $200-225. Is he in the area? EDIT: I've got what you see in my sig, minus the go-fast stuff. It had 76K on it, loaded with everything but the kitchen sink and navigation for 28K +TTL at a Dodge Stealership in Humble. Bought it in March 2011. EDIT EDIT: Didnt see that it already had tires and batteries. Last edited by nlcougar; 03-28-2012 at 10:16 AM. |

I guess it depends on your location and what resource you use for value. nada is higher than kbb.

Truck is located in Houston area and I am 40 miles from Houston. I'm going off nada because all the local banks use that when lending. I believe 285/65/20 bfg all terrains run about $400 a piece (roughly).

I thought I saw quite a few on autotrader. There are some on craigslist as well. There's also texasdirectauto- dunno if the name is totally accurate. This is a tedious task but can be rewarding check the online inventories of car stealerships. Some place a high value on the 6.4 and some are looking to give them away.
I finally found the color combo and trim I wanted after 2 months. I paid a bit more but the truck was mint and there was nothing on the oasis report. If she turns out to be reliable then of course I'll be extremely satisfied. Just take your time and you'll find the one you want for a good price. Seems like a lot of 6.4 owners are dropping them for the new 6.7s. BTW any truck is worth what you're wiling pay. |
