Installed Spartan, now exhaust sounds like blow torch
Is that normal? I am running the 275 tune, with AFE stage 2 intake, and cat/dpf delete exhaust.

I tuned my 6.0 before I did my cat delete. But when I deleted my cat you can hear that turbo for sure. When you first start the truck you should hear the motor running. Then a few seconds after you should hear that hair dryer sound of the turbo spinning

haha. Yep totally normal. The pissed of hair dryer sound is just the turbos you here. You let her breathe

normal and a good sound to me. People always look at me weird when I am fueling up and it starts whistling.

6.4 sounds a lot different than the 6.0
6.4 is an odd sounding diesel because of the turbo setup, but I like it because it is different. |

I love the sound of a 5" straight piped 6.0. They sound MEAN! best sound in my opinion, but I love the 6.4 sound to.

I like the 6.4 how the motor itself isn't as loud. But I love my 6.0 plus I have a KR so it's really not loud at all in the cab

The 6.4 you can hear the turbo right away it's on the 6.0 that there's a delay when starting

Yeah I like how it delays when I start it up I tell people listen and when the turbo spools up they are like what is that. I'm like I flipped the switch and turned my jet engine on. lol
