Mirror Lights
Hey guys I have a 08 King Ranch F350, are the mirror lights supposed to light up with the running lights? Mine work with the turn signals only. If they are supposed to be on, what's the best way to get access to the bulbs to check them?
Thanks, Nate |

Yes they will turn on with the running lights. Let me look for the write up on how to remove the lenses.

Push the mirrors all the way to the inside, shine a light in there and you will see a tab GENTLY push tab with a flat screwdriver and light lens will come right out.

Tab is grey just so you know. They pop right out. They are 194 wedge bulbs if you want to get a pair before ya take them out

Well I found some time to dig into the problem today. Turns out the light bulbs were fine. So that led me to some head scratching. I did some searching on the org and ran across some wiring diagrams. Sorry I forgot who posted them or I'd give them credit for posting them up. It was a big help. Traced it back to fuse F-64 in the fuse box under the hood. Turns out there was no fuse installed
Put in a new fuse and bingo! Back in business. Thanks for the help guys. |

^ Good stuff! Sometimes the fuse box is the first place to check!

I wish all electrical issues were easily solved with a bad fuse.....
