Getting rid of my 7.3 for a 6.4 or a 6.7 ?????

I am thinking about getting rid of my 99 F-350 CC Dually with a 7.3 (76k miles). I am looking at a 2008 F-350 CC Dually with a 6.4 (28k miles). It is very very clean . It's Oxford White with a Tan bottom and Tan interior . They are asking 34k for the truck . I am also thinking about a new truck with a 6.7 but just don't know that I want that big of a payment . Anyway , does anyone have any suggestions or input on the matter . I can't decide on what to do .

By the way , I would give anyone here first dibs on my truck before trading it in , just don't have time to go through the steps of starting a new for sale thread right now , maybe by the weekend .

you have a 7.3 with only 76k miles and wanna sell it?! a new 6.4 isn't woth it IMHO. a 6.7 MAYBE. but with either choice you still have to deal with emissions. yeah it clatters more and doesnt have the interior of the newer truck but dang I'd sure keep whatcha got.. just sayin. really good looking truck btw

Whats wrong with your 7.3 that you want to improve with a 6.4L or 6.7L?

I'm keeping mine for a while, and it's not for lack of being able to afford a newer one.

PIS 230/80's, Van Turbo with EBPV, BD Billet Wheel
Lots of money spent at RiffRaff
Dual SD fuel pumps, in tank mods, CNC Fab bowl retain kit. SDK Tunes. Isspro.
Still pretty slow, just less slow now.

That's the reason I started thinking of getting rid of it . I love my truck but I really want a newer vehicle . I bought my wife a 2011 F150 CC with a 5.0 and every time I drive it I fall more in love with the inside of it . I was going to just put a newer interior in my truck but every time I find one it falls through . I had my eyes on a late model Harley truck , the whole interior . The guy sold it out from under me , I was coming to get it on a Sat , on Fri. some one offered him $500 more bucks and he sold it . In the mean time I passed on an almost complete fx4 int. My truck is in great shape , I just really want some newer creature comforts . Thanks for the compliments too .

Nothing wrong with it at all . I just want the newer feeling truck I guess . The interior in my truck really dates it in my opinion . I know I am probably being stupid . I just went and drove the 6.4 and a 6.7 today .......

Okay , well you guys have got me thinking hard now . I really appreciate the complements , maybe I am taking for granted what I have .

Grass ISN'T always greener on the other side. Plus, if it's paid for, that's a tremendous benefit!

Good luck in making your decision....you HAVE an awesome truck with super low miles, you won't have any problems selling if you so decide to go that route.

I would definitely stay with your 7.3 and just keep on trying to upgrade your interior if that is the primary reason for wanting to get a newer one. Your truck looks sweet and upgrading a a new one means your gonna have to start from scratch again.

If your gonna go newer, I would go with the 6.7, but that's just my opinion.
