Interested in buying 6.4 want opinions

I'm interested in buying a 6.4 liter. I want to know your opinion. Likes and dislikes, fuel economy, reliability over the long hall. Just wondered if it is better than the 6.0 diesels heard bad things about them. Got a 7.3 and love it. Your thoughts please

Best truck I've owned and I had a 6.0 had terrible luck with it. Biggest thing with the 6.4 is maintenance! Oil changes and fuel filters have to be done on time. If your buying used get an oasis report and maintenance records. I'm really happy with how mine is holding up it gets driven hard and down a lot of logging/bush roads

I had a 7.3 and loved it, that was until I got my 6.4. I love it, lots of power, and drives alot smoother going down the road. The interiors are also better IMO.

How often maintenance? How good is fuel economy compared to the old 7.3?

Oil changes depended on weather or not you have the dpf still on due to fuel dilution and fuel filters IMO should be changed every 10k I do it even sooner it's cheap insurance I've heard some horror stories about the fuel systems and I don't want to go down that road. Also draining the water seperator at least every month is a good idea. Treat the 6.4 good and she will return the favor
