shifting wierd

i know there is a tranny subforum but it seems to have more questions than answers. i have a 210 spartan tune and deleted. my truck from 3-4 sometimes get stuck in 3rd and the rpm just kinds pulses somewere around 3-4k rpm. i may be alittle to busy watching the road so it is kinda an rpm guideline. i am on early lock and thinking of trying the late lock. it did right from the first time i hammered it with the new tune. i have only got on it maybe six times and two of them worked flawlessly. i have about 3k kms since the tune. i have not pulled anything yet with it and the truck has not quite hit 40k kms. i am assuming this may be a tuning prob

I think what your describing is shift flare, sometimes you can just add a little more trans fluid to take care of it,if it don't, it's the shift selinoid that needs to be replaced.

is what your saying my fluid is low, or if it is the right level i need to go beyond that??, if so how much? and thanx by the way

I would check your fluid to see if it's low,but if it's full i would add a couple of onces and see if it works,it has for me on my kem 345 tune which has some bad shift flare or it couyld be my celinoid going,but it helped mine.

i had a bad shift flare on the 3-4 shift. I put the gogo direct solenoid and services that tranny. Shift flare is gone
