Painted headlights

Does anyone on here paint bake headlights and paint them. Like I send my lights out and someone do the work or do any businesses do it? I'm scared to bake my own but if I can't find anyone I will give it a go. I can't send mine in for a core because they have a hole for strobe light so i would have to send my lights out and get my lights back. Let me know, I thought someone on here was doing it. Thanks

I did mine myself. It wasn't that bad of a project. The hardest part about it is waiting while they sit in the oven. If you do them yourself just make sure you keep them hot while you are trying to pry them apart. Oh and don't forget to get a good bead of rtv when putting them back together or you will have condensation build up in them. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. I think there is a write up on here somewhere with very detailed instructions to do it yourself. I don't know anyone that does it on here but I'm gonna do all the take apart and bake and such and my local body shop is going to paint mine for me. Hope it helps

i just got done doing mine, they're sitting in my garage with the glue drying. the hardest part was prying it apart but was totally worth it

I'm prolly gonna give it a try in a few weeks. Still haven't decided on my color combo yet so I don't kno if I'm keeping chrome or getting rid of it all

that was my question, what color/ colors are yall going with, My truck is white, Are yall sticking with the color your truck is or going tint? i like the deal of this, Just need more info and input,

when i did mine i just tinted the chrome and reflectors , kind of the Harley look,, im going to re do them and paint the chrome black and the center reflector color matched red......FYI its pretty easy... i did i write up with pics....you will kick yourself if you pay $300 for it... cost me like $5 and 2 hrs...
