What color coolant should i have in my truck?

I though I had read somewhere that its the yellow stuff that should be in there.
Well i had to have the radiator replaced and a few other things that was caused by a deer deciding to run into the front of my truck and the body shop that did the work put in what looks like green coolant, like the normal chit.... I Then had to bring the truck to FORD to have the fuel cooler bled because the morons at the body shop didnt do it. They had to add coolant to the degas bottle as stated in the paperwork.. I would assume that Ford added yellow to the stuff the body shop put in. I will call them tomorrow to ask what they put in. If I had known before I would have stressed the importance of the yellow stuff.. I have only driven the truck say 400 miles since the change though.
SHould I drain that all out?

Well the yellow/gold crap is the original oem ford stuff, they should have put that in. So im guessing its now mixed with the green stuff?

You will get mixed opinions on the ford gold (yellow) but either way you do not want the green stuff in there I would drain it ASAP I heard it doesn't protect. So either switch back to ford gold or your best bet put in the cat ec-1 (red) if you do put back in the ford gold throw on a coolant filter and you won't have any problems at least that's what I did

really damn. do i need to do a flush or just drain and refill. Its an 03, 7.3 by the way.

How much is the red stuff, I always try and put high quality stuff in my truck.

I'm not sure on the 7.3 you might be ok...someone else with more knowledge on this will hopefully chime in

Yeah I am gonna drain it out. Im gonna put in the Zerex EC-1 stuff in..
