I dont see an issue with Delo, as long as its the CJ-4 rated for the post 2007 emissions diesel. Delo has a "CI-4 plus" certified diesel that is rated for the pre2007 diesels, so be careful......I buy my Rotella oil in the 6 gallon case at Sams, they also sell Delo at about the same cost I think. I have only used Rotella though in the two Diesels I have owned.
I pulled the first part of my post straight from Delo.....O ya one other thing, I heard somewhere that Delo smells, not quite sure what actually smells. If its A) Fresh oil out of the jug being poured in or B) When draining the motor of oil. Has anyone else heard that it smells? |

if you're deleted, seek out the old CI-4+ oil

For the some of us that are running deletes still in warranty, wouldnt it be wise to stick with the CJ-4 oil? I would rather have the CJ4 just in case I have to throw everything back on and go to the dealership.....I guess you never know if they pull a sample. I may just be way overthinking it though.....

I put delo in last time because it was the cheapest. No difference in it and motorcraft, rotella, or mobil delvac to me

What's the difference in the two types of Delo and since I'm deleted it shouldn't make a huge difference right?
