Air dam question

Ive noticed that 08-10 trucks the height of the air dam varies. My 2010 has the short one and like the looks of the taller ones. Was there any rhyme or reason to why they can be different on different trucks?

I asked the same ? And this is what I got. But your 2010 should have the tall air dam. Only the 2008 job 1 trucks got the short one right?
Job 1 Vs 2 or 3

08 F-350 FX4 CCLB,Lowered 3.5" in the rear with airbag assisted leaf springs and PMF Traction Blocks, Onboard Air, 18x10's, 325/60R18 Nitto Dura Grapplers, Mini Maxx, AFE stage 2 intake, Flo-Pro 4" duals.

the 2WD have short ones and the early 08's have short ones the rest have the long ones. I like the short ones much better.
