6.0 to 6.4?!

Hey guys i need some opnions on moving up to a 6.4. My 05 rolled 97,000 last night. I love the truck never had issues but am itching for a 6.4. Finally found a 08 with 70,000 its also a kr. Anyone switch trucks and love it or hate it?

I had an 06 6.0 KR and I don't think the two are comparable. This truck hands down drives better, pulls better and handles better. I quiet and quite frankly, the fuel mileage isn't any better or worse. The 6.4 is hands down a better rig.

the 6.4 is the easiest of the big 3 to do a DPF delete on... If you want to go ultra-stealth, you can buy a spare DPF cheap and gut it. truck will look/sound stock.

I went from a 03 6.0 KR to an 08 6.4 KR and I couldn't be happier.... These 08's are leaps and bounds better than the 6.0's IMHO. I tuned and deleted the dpf and my 6.4 would run circles around my 6.0 after making the switch last February , I wouldn't go back to a 6.0 unless it was given to me , Don't get me wrong, my early 03 didn't give me any problems, and was a great truck , but the new interior is so much nicer and these motors with mild tuning really come alive and blow the doors off most trucks onthe road , Do some more research on here , there are a few problems with the 6.4's , but of u keep up with maintenance and tune and delete the dpf , U should have one hell of a truck
