Going today to look at this f450

Tell me what you guys think of this truck. I was sure I was going to buy it until I saw the carfax report. Now I'm not sure. The truck is a 2008 f450 crewcab dually 4x4 with the kingranch package. here is the link

Awesome looking truck. Not sure about the price though. I got mine for $35000 with 34000 miles on it. What was on the car fax that you didnt like.

If you click on the pic of the truck the next screen has a free car fax report which shows oil cooler and heating problems. Bunch of parts replaced. I think it show they had to seal seal the front timing chain cover like 3 times.

Hmm. If you can get the vim I would do an Oasis as it is much more accurate.

Ask the dealer for an Oasis report.. then come back and let us know what it says. To be honest, I wouldnt pay $31,999 for a truck with almost 100K on it. I'd pay $21,999 and no more. you can find a better deal if you keep looking.

Thanks The more and more i think about it. I'm not gonna buy it. I found another one at bell ford and only has 55,000 miles on it but it's $35,000. It seems like ford trucks are at a premium in AZ.

Contact your insurance company before you buy. I just bought a F450 and had to get a separate commercial policy. Progressive would write a regular policy but they wanted $2200.00/year. Erie Insurance gave me a 500k/1 million dollar commercial policy for $900/year.

I'm not even gonna look at the truck anymore. I'm trying to stay with Ford but Sh!!T all the dealers Berge, Peoria and Earnhartd want a premium for there trucks. I wanted the new 6.7 diesel but it's out of my budget. They are all asking 50k to 54k for a f250 crewcab 4x4 diesel when I can get a 2012 dodge 2500 4x4 crewcab with a 6.7 for about 36K. ( on sale this weekend) I've have allways owned a Ford truck but I'm really thinking about buying a Dodge this time.
