make sure the oil and filter has been changed recently, every 5K is what most recommend... also make sure the fuel filters have been changed.. this is sometimes missed and not done by some dealers... even though it is imperative IMHO to change fuel filters every 10K miles.. most everyone else on here will agree with me.. Have the cooling system pressure tested to check for leaks.. the radiators are notorious for leaking,.. also check the degas bottle cap.. should hold 16PSI, anything less than that, it should be replaced. other than that, if it has a clean oasis report and it runs good, sounds like a good truck... after you get it.. do some more reading/searching on this forum and get you a tuner/DPF Delete/Intake and dont look back... the 6.4 will run circles around your 6.0

ya ive alrdy called rcd the only diesel shop ik of anywhere close to me, prolly going with a full egr delete 5inch exhaust and s&b intake not sure if i want spartan or h&s yet. one thing i did notice there was some oil not dripping or anything you could just tell it was wet but there was oil on the drain plug guessing this was from a recent oil change? The sticker in the window says next change in roughly 5k of what the odo says. not sure how to test the cooling system pressure? This would prolly be a dealer job? Thx for the help

Yea. That test would be done by the dealer ... This would check for any leaks in your cooling system , Also ask them about fuel filters ... Thereice no actual way to tell when they were changed other than going on their word or physically taking them out and looking at them to make sure they're new and they are the new style
