What's it worth. Opinions please.

2008 fx4. Loaded. 20s. Needs tires. Two small dents in front bumper. Heres the catch. Just had hpfp replaced but not by ford. Did it himself. Says it has new rod bearings and all new injectors. Rod bearings done because he was worried about wash down with the bad injector that was taken out by the fuel pump. He has put about 1500 trouble free miles on it since the work was completed. Asking $25k. Should I just keep looking. My opinion is he is a little high on the price. Thanks.

What are the options? Sun roof? Nav? Full power seats? Or just 4 way power?

I paid 28500 for my '08 with 106k on it.Bought it from a dealer and got a 2 year 24k powertrain warranty.My truck also had the hpfp and injectors replaced. Truck has nav,roof full power seats etc.

My guess was going to be 30k

Sunroof, no nav, six way seats heated. Does not have auto climate control. My concern is him doing it himself. I will check for leaks in the fuel system. Anything else I should look for.

I'd pass on it, unless the guy is a mechanic. 1500 miles on this truck could be a weeks worth of driving for me in a busy season. Why is he getting rid of it? If I took the time and money to re-build my truck out of pocket, I would do it right and keep it....just my .02
