Carli Pin Top 2.5, 37 Toyo MTs, and a few small dress up goodies. I hope this is a busy weekend!

Can't wait to see the finished product. I'm looking at their coil over kit. Why'd you go with the Pin Top over the Coil Over other than it's ~$800 cheaper?

There are benefits to using the coilover, the two most obvious are; preload adjustability and the other is it allows the use of a second or bypass shock.
For my use, I don't need the extra shock or the ability to adjust ride height that precisely isn't needed. Plus, I figure if it is good enough for Sage Carli's truck, it is more than enough for mine. The main reason is it is supposed to have better road manners than the coilover kit. So, I figure the other $800 is better spent on other stuff... Actually for my use, the kit with Bilsteins would have been fine, but we needed the King eye candy for advertising. I won't be a busy weekend, wheels are still a couple weeks out. I will get some pictures as everything goes together. And measurements of before and after height. I am really looking forward to getting started on this... like kid at Christmas!
