Humming from under the truck

Man, nothing but problems lately! So here is a strange one, I have noticed a strange humming noise from underneath the truck and its is pretty loud in the cab. I only really hear it while stopped or in park but as I start to move it goes away. I am wondering if it could be the tranny

Have you crawled underneath to double check? I had the sound coming from under the hood and it was the vacuum pump

I was gonna say the same thing. I currently have it buzzing away as I broke a vacuum line and havent fixed it properly yet.

If you do all your own maintenance, have you put grease in the 2 zerk fittings at the frint axle? I had a similar sound too and went away after getting a grease gun.

Mine is loud as hell and chages pitch when i am braking.
it is right under the driver door inside the frame.

Well i just realized this is a 6.4 but it might still be the same! Lol maybe not.

What's the fix? I notice mine the most when I am touching the brake peddle. It vibrates through the brake pedal.
