Dual Alternator Voltage Reading

Hey guys, I have the dual alternator set-up and just replaced both batteries with 850cca Motorcrafts. My check engine light came on with a DTC that read there's a voltage error, either <10V or >16V. However, when I put my voltmeter on the batteries with the truck running I was registering 13.1 on both batteries, but I figured it should be a little higher than this with dual alternators. What do you guys get with duals?

Make sure all connectors are making good contact with the battery terminals. Especially on the inside of the connectors where corrosion products tend to build up and make a high-resistance connection.
