Hey I am soon to return home from an 11 month over seas deployment and I am looking to reward myself with a little something for the truck. Currently just have a 6in lift, 37in Toyo MTs on 18in eagle alloy wheels. Performance wise I have the H&S Black Maxx, S&B Intake, and Flo-Pro 5 in exhaust. I am looking to do a little exterior work. Any ideas for me? I am kind of out of the loop in whats been going on for the last year. The Monster FX4 stickers are coming off probably for the 2011 FX4 stickers. Here are a few current pics:

I would say tint the front windows, get some smoked mirror lens' and 3rd brake light, Harley headlights (or take them apart and paint black) and get rid of the chrome front grille. Why does it have a front chrome grille anyway, the FX4's usually have the painted. Maybe a full replacement bumper by Ranchhand or whatever brand you prefer? May not be a bad idea to get a dual steering stabilizer on her too with those tires! Helps with the ride quality and look good. Another option could be some front and rear aftermarket diff coveres? Another item that is very functional and looks great. I know I've been eye balling those Mag-Hytek ones latley. Other than that you have it pretty well covered!

My suggestion for your truck would be lights, lights, lights. Gets some cab marker lights and a tailgate marker light (goes on the strip just above the license plate).

Well I just pulled the trigger on:

Tail gate light bar
Smoked third brake light
Smoked Side Mirror Lights
Smoked Tail Lights

and some SUPER DUTY raised letter inserts. I wanted to get those smoked head lights but I just couldn't get over the price of those. I'm either going to tint them with night shades myself or maybe end up getting them... We'll see. Thanks for the input so far.

Also just ordered the 2011 Style FX4 Decals.

For the chrome bumper, the guy who had it before me was wanting to convert to the all chrome look. I've been looking for a painted one to trade for a long time. Seems everyone is trying to get rid of their chrome...

Exactly why I asked. The FX4's look awesome with the painted bumpers and all you see is people selling their chrome. Oh well... still a beautiful truck!

Thanks I appreciate it! I'm sure I'll eventually get someone to trade bumpers. Cant wait to get the new lights in... Well they'll be in before I get home. Give me something to do while on post deployment leave I guess.

For a clean look you may also color match the black part of your mirrors. I really like that look and you have a good color truck for it.

Have you completed an EGR Delete yet? How about head studs? If you have the money, I would go that route prior to exterior work.

Definitely dual steering stabilizers and a window tint. I did 5% on doors and 30% on front. Looks great and keeps the leather fresh.

Also, I rid of my stickers because I like the unknown...it's like having a H&S product. You can pull up next to someone who is clueless of the HP capability, turn her up, and burn 'em down! Stickers don't make a truck...the truck makes the truck. Just my 2 cents.

you can paint the headlight yourself for $2.99 its pretty easy....powdercoat the bumpers..

I haven't done the egr delete or studs yet... Those will be done this year though. Window tint is already done, my wife did that for me since I'm still out to sea. For the stabilizers I haven't really seen a need for those yet, the truck drives really nice.

I am planning on picking up another set of stock head lights to paint.
