Help on exhaust questions..
I had a dpf back 5" mbrp pipe before I deleted and now I have a afe 4" all the way back from dp. What adapter do I need to run my dpf back 5" on my system on the truck now. I like the way that looks a lot better mbrp has a 3 1/2" ID to 4" OD is that right? And will that little transition were it goes to 3 1/2 effect my egts? 3 1/2" is the stock diameter were the dpf would be right? Thanks a lot I'm confused lol

I would find a 4" to 5" adapter and a piece of 5" pipe long enough to make up the gap between the two. Then I'd go to an exhaust shop and have em fit it up and weld everything together.
I wouldnt bother with having the 3 1/2" piece put back on the truck, its irrevelant. Hack that part off and either use 4" or 5" pipe to make up the difference. |
