Check engine light is on but nothing comes up on the DashDAQ

I guess I got to take it to ford tomorrow but have any of you guys experience this? I was driving along about 30 mph and the check engine light came on, but nothing pops up on my tuner.

Seems a bit weird, truck runs fine right? May be worth buying a scan tool just to have for cases like this. Saves you time and inconvenience of having to go to Ford.

The dashDAQ will not show every code that your truck can throw..... a.k.a. it doesnt monitor all of your trucks systems. When I toasted my transmission, the "wrench" illuminated on my gauge cluster, and then was proceeded by the check engine light. I ran a code check several times on my Black Maxx to see if it could tell me anything, but nothing came up. I asked about this when I spoke to an H&S rep, and he stated what i typed above. The tuners and DashDAQ monitors arent designed to be a full blown scan tool to read every code that your truck can possible throw. Its more of a helpful tool to aid you when the systems and temps being monitored are out of whack. My tranny ended up being completely trashed internally, and my programmer was unable to diagnose anything due to the way they are designed. (which was suprising to me due to the fact that we can change shift schedules, TC lock, ect.)
