Hey guys I am currently trying to figure out how to go about getting my radiator fixed. I have all of mods still on the truck and really do not want to go to the hassle of taking them off. I know Fords warranty will not cover the radiator but I have a third party warranty (which covers anything but maintenance) from the dealership I purchased the truck at(non ford dealership) and was wondering if they could void the warranty they sold me because of the mods. I really would like to take it in and get it fixed without taking everything off. Please advise.

This is the biggest problem with mods You have to be willing to take them off if still under warranty. They will void your warranty if they see any kind of mods.

I don't mind putting the exhaust back on for smog test but with them being every other year in Cali im not quite sure if I want to do the EGR delete. Sucks

I'd assume that they're probably going to be as stringent as Ford would be. There's a lot of fine print on these third party warranties and they're pretty greasy. When I bought my first car, I bought a third party warranty and thought I'd be getting OEM parts if there was a claim. Little did I know until I used it that they had the right to use aftermarket parts where OEM parts were too expensive. The only time they used OEM parts was when there wasn't an aftermarket part available. I had the choice of paying the difference between the aftermarket and OEM part if I wanted the OEM part installed but the aftermarket part was about a third of the cost of the OEM part.
