Tpms question

Hey guys, I have a set of 2010 rims with sensors already in them. Im going to put them on our 2010 6.4. Do I need to take the tires off both sets of rims and swap sensors or can I re connect the new sensors without taking the tires apart. Can I do it or does the dealer and how much does that cost.

Thanks for your help. I think I'm moving up to the 6.4 selling my 6.0 and my dad is buying the new 6.7 f450. If I do I will surely miss the 6.0 whistle/ rumble

You should have no problem with that swap....
the senors are from the same year.....only potential problem would be if the wheels are from an f350 and up, the pressure levels are different than the f250.

You or your dad may have the tpms reset tool in the owners manual. If so you can do the reset/retrain process to the new wheels. (the procedure is in the owners manual)

Hey thanks alot. I picked up my factory 20's today. The 20's are going onto the 2010 and it's rims are going onto my 05 and selling it. I will check out the owners manual tomorrow. Thanks for saving me some money. I would have took it to the dealer and prolly spent a whole lot. That's just money towards my dpf delete
