Mini Maxx Question

Just got my mini maxx and skimmed through the readings. When mounting it says to remove the double sided tape but mine did not come with tape. Did you have to supply your own tape? Seems like they would include it

Mine had it but it wasn't really enough to hold it down securely, I ended up adding some 3m brand 2 sided tape to it. Hasn't moved at all in the 6 months or so I have had it.

Thanks, when running the dpf removed tuning, it says it automatically turns off the EGR. I plan of removing the DPV but does it need to be removed to turn off the EGR? Is there a seperate tune?

If your running dpf on tuning the egr will cycle. Once you remove the dreaded dpf you will need to reprogram with the dpf removed tuning, and the egr will not cycle when running these tunes.

Ok thanks, are the tunes (mild wild and hot I believe) preloaded on the programmer or do I have to go the their website and download?

Tunes are on your device.
300 tune and different trans tunes are available to download from their website.
Firmware updates are also available on their website.

H&S is a sponsor here ... see them in the vendor section.

I would take the time to download the H&S performance updater onto your pc. Then follow the steps to ensure that you have the most up to date version. I believe it is still currently "31"
