Hunting on startup.

Anybody with an 08 6.4 notice some "hunting" when the truck is first started and idling? Takes a couple minutes before mine smooths out. Comments? Concerns?

If it's in regen mode at startup, it will hunt around. Otherwise, the idle should stay steady.

Ya but it does this on every cold startup so I doubt it is in regen mode every time!!

i dont have an 08, but when its real cold out mine will stumble a bit too. just for a few then smooths right out!

I could see maybe if it was -30 outside, but its not that cold yet. Only about 2 or 3 outside.
