6.4 turbo cleaning?? Advice needed

I am about to do a bunch of work on my motor (ccv, egr delete, coolant filter, etc) and I heard that after doing the ccv mod it is a good idea to clean the turbo fins because if dried oil? Is this a good idea and how would I go about doing this? I've never worked on a turbo before. But if it needs a cleaning it would be nice to do it while I'm in there. Any advice would be great!

I recently removed- rebuild - reinstalled my turbos cab on ( pain in the a$$ to do cab on). I for one would never even consider removing the turbos unless something was wrong with them. These turbos are pretty darn tough, unless something is broke or your upgrading them, don't touch-em.

Well whoever I heard this from didn't say anything about removing or dissembling the turbos but they just said something about scraping off the fins through the intake?!? I have no idea what they were talking about. Just wondering if that's something I need to do. Sounds like not though.

Well, you can get to some of the low pressure turbos compressor wheel with the air intake removed but unless you do some dissassembly you can't get to either of the high pressure turbos wheels. Ask the guy to explain what he meant.
