6.4 owners/ potential owners start here first

It's getting quite annoying every time I come on here that there's 2-3 new threads about guys wanting to know issues on the 6.4 and how to avoid them. So, I was thinking we could do a thread that the veteran 6.4 guys and shops that have irk on these things daily chime in. I can edit this thread and maybe make it a sticky, open discussion is a must so there's no false info or "hear-say."
Please only throw your input in if you're completely sure about your findings.

Some examples we need are:

Info/recalls/ dates on job 1,2,3
What to look for when buying used, engine hours, etc...
Dpf deletes, where to buy, legal in your city/county
Tuners, detune parameters, h&s free updates vs spartan
Egr deletes/replacements
Coolant temp vs oil temp and what to look for
Exhausts
Intakes
Etc...

Please contribute guys!

I have an 08 f350 fixing to hit 90k, replaced 1 tensioner pulley. Change oil on time, keep filters new, and use power service. I love the 6.4. Recently deleted cat & Dpf and started running the mini maxx and I love it even more.

08 made early 2007 and before they started putting job numbers on the window stickers. I H&S tune, CAI, Cat/PDF deleted it early this year. It had about 42,000 miles on it. I have put another 8000 miles on it. I can't remember my hours right now but I average 39.5 miles per hour.

I had problems with white smoke constantly on wet days while driving at around the same speeds. This has been taken care of since tune and runs alot better. Mine also has picked up a little on fuel economy. Basicy 1 mph without countins and about 3-4 if you count regens. Also went 13.5 @ 99 in the 1/4 mile and weighs in at 8960 with me being 220.
