DIY 6.4 intake

Has anyone done an DIY intake on an 08 or newer truck. I am thinking about trying it but wanted to see if anyone has some ideas or pics of ones they have tried. I wonder if there is anyway to show horn a 6637 filter under the hood.

Possible, but with the price of a S&B or AFE being so cheap I cant really see where anything would be gained trying to do a DIY. If intakes for our trucks cost $600 or something outrageous... then yes I can see a DIY, but for $250 it seems like a no brainer to me.

I would still be intrested in seeing some that have been done... dont get me wrong I'm not 100% shooting down the idea. I just think for the masses its easier to purchase one.

Get an afe with a pg7 filter. I had mine off when I put on my coolant filter and after 10000 miles the intake ducts have no dust at all in them.
