DPF-R?

Gear Box Z

Just curious if anyone has experience with this product and if the company is reputable with a good track record.

I just want a reliable truck, and I'm not interested in spending $1000.00 on a tuner. I already have the dpf delete pipe. I'm also satisfied with the trucks performance power-wise.

Anybody wanna chime in?

XRT Pro is only $650 and a far superior product. You spent $30k on a truck.... why you gonna cheap out and put a crap electronics device on it.

Hmm, I'm curious also. I have some landscapers with 450/550 trucks that want to do DPF deletes but don't want any more power.

So you have experience with this device do you? Or you assume it's crap because it's cheaper then what you purchased?

I bought a truck to use as a truck, not to be some hot-rodding, street racer wanna-be.

Just looking to see if anyones tried it out or if anyone has experience buying from them.

I've never used a DPF-R product... but with 20 minutes of your time, a few different forums and the search button you'll see the same opinion that I have voiced. Also, I use my truck as a truck too and I hate to break the news to you, but with H&S you can put the chip on and select to add no extra power and simply use it to delete EGR and DPF related BS so you have no codes. So all your fears of being labeled a "street racing wanna-be" will never come true and you can sleep better tonight. In a nut shell, if you just searched to start with, you probably could have answered all your questions and been on your merry way. If you start a thread asking questions, dont get your panties in a bunch because you dont hear what you want to.

if you have a 600 hp truck, you are not exactly a "wanna be", if you are looking for advice on some low-end components, you probably are...or you would get the right recommended set up and then you would just" BE"

I think the OP is trying to get info on if this product works or not. I'm sure he's aware that many of the tuners out there will disable the DPF function, but why buy a whole tuner when you just want to remove the DPF. No need to get in a pissing contest here.

I'm curious about it as well. All's your trying to do is keep the truck from going into a regen. If you have the DPF removed anyway I don't see how there would be anything negative that would happen to the truck.

I wish someone would come up with something like this for 06/07 6.0's so you could turn off the EGR valve without having to buy a full tuner.

I did some searching on the product and I couldn't come up with anything negative about it. Here's one link I found.....
