New truck decision. I need help.

Fellas,
I am trading my 04 Cummins dually for a chevy or a ford, all dually 4x4s.
What are the pros and cons of each.
07 GMC 3500 duramax Allison with 179,000 miles for $20,900.

06 Chevy 3500 Duramax Allison with 97,000 miles loaded with leather etc $28,000.

08 Chevy 3500 flat bed Duramax Allison with 138,000 miles work truck cloth seats rubber mat on floor $22,000.

08 Ford F450 6.4 PSD lariat loaded with leather etc 94,000 miles $29,900.

08 ford F350 6.4 PSD king ranch with 117,000 miles $27,900

Well I absolutely love my F-450. Since it is past warranty you can go ahead and delete and tune with no issues.

Poor emissions when stock; however tuned, a 6.4 will be the best thing that ever happened to you (power and mpgs). PM me, and I will fill you in on my opinions...i have owned a 6.0 too, and I have worked on all the trucks you have listed. All depends on Personal opinion, what you use the truck for, what you expect out of performance, interior/comfort, exterior look, and modification friendly. Clearly warranty is not an issue for you, so my first advise is start with an oasis report on each one of those trucks and test drive them all over night. If they don't wanna let you take the truck overnight to test drive, consider that one out of the pot. You are on a ford 6.4 forum...so obviously everyone's opinions are heavily biased. Go to a cummins forum or a GM forum and they will all differ in opinion...hell before I bought my 6.4, I had a 6.0 and badmouthed the 6.4's. Now, i swear by them, and have made quite a bit of money at the drag strip off of the 6.4.

It's all a matter of preference and opinion. best news is you're in the right field (diesels). Keep us posted on how it goes!

I just installed my 275 Spartan tune in my 08 F350 w/105,000 miles. I had the 250 tune since last year. What an amazing difference in both power and fuel mileage. I would never trade my 6.4 for either a "C'mon's", or 'Chinamax". There simply is no equal to this combination! Well maybe 2012 with a "Spartan Hammer".

yes, yes, and yessssss. Right now, i'd have the 6.4 before the 6.7. From the research I have done, our Internationals are capable of more hp than the home-made (in Mexico...) Fords. I'm sure that will change as time goes on...

That may be true, but the 6.7 is a great motor out of the box with no mod's!

Couldn't have said it better myself! My buddy has a '11 and it's unreal. If I could afford a 60K+ truck, I'd be driving one myself. He's bout to tune his too...I can't wait to run side by side. I have a feeling he's gonna smoke me...

mpg is crazy bad stock.....just like every other 07 diesel or newer, except of course for a v6 dodge, but who would ever want a v6 dually.... the tuned 6.4 ford is twice the truck of any u have mentioned....but that is going to be a common answer if you come to this site...

My 08 went from 12 mpg on the 'Lie O Meter" to 27.8 mpg on the same meter. With that said, my actual mileage on the highway, 75 mph, no trailer and no cruise set, is 22 mpg with the 250 tune, and 24 with the 275 tune. I am going to try out the 310 tune in a Jan trip to Florida. Will keep you posted.
