Starting down that route now.

1st) Find out if your truck can handle a manual, from what I am hearing some cabs are built for the 5R110 specificly and some are not.If your s is built for an Auto it might require some sheet metal changes.
2nd) Find a donor truck to get all you parts there are a bunch some you wouldn't normaly think of.
3) look at upgrading the flywheel and clutch system, if you have powere adders getting rid of the dual mess flywheel right off the bat will save you time and money later. Like wise for the clutch depe4nding on the power level and how you drive you might end up with a dual disk setup, again save time and aggravation down the road
4) stock up on some $$$$$ and be prepared to part with $4,000.00 or so of the stock pile.

Going down this road in the spring, looking for a donor now.

Cheers

Thanks. Do you know of any electrical issues im going to run into? Ive done a few auto to manual swaps in the past but not on anything this new. As for a clutch i would probably run a southbend dual disk. I put one in my 03 cummins and loved it.
