Readylift leveling kit carrier bearing spacer

So I installed a 2.5 readylift leveling kit on my f350 today and the kit included a carrier bearing shim for the rear driveline. My question is that I didn't lift the rear of the truck at all so my rear driveline angle didn't change, so whats the point of the spacer?

maybe they just include it "incase" you get driveline vibration.. its probably just included in the kit as part of the base parts included
