Thought of purchasing 2008 6.4

I have a 2001 7.3 with 253,000miles. I want to sell and get newer. I found a 08 f250 king ranch, 125,000m for 29,000. I have heard a lot of bad things about 6.0 and 6.4. Can I get please some input.

I would go with the 6.4 but maybe not that one. The 6.0's have all sorts of problems with them. My brother has one and he regrets it. The price for that truck is kinda high for me. The 6.4 does have a few simple problems but the miles that truck has on it im sure they have all ready been delt with. Have a ford dealership run a OASIS report on the truck and that will give you the background of the truck for the most part.

$29k is consistent with what I found when looking at used 2008's last year with about the same mileage... That is why I ended up buying new..

I picked up my 08 f350 Lariat with 16,000 miles on it for 34k....that price seems a bit high for the mileage.

i paid 17,000 for mine and it had 140k on it ya i just got lucky haha

I paid 30 with 65000 miles for my 08 king ranch

Do some more searching. Better deals out there.

I paid 31.4K for my '03 in '04 with only 19,000 miles. But I was curious about the problems of the 6.0 because mine has 120K on it now and I haven't had a problem one with it.

19k for a 08 2wd lariat with 90,000

34K for an 08 King Ranch almost a year ago (Jan '11) with 50K on it.. keep looking.. you'll find one.. you just have to be patient... it took me 3 months of searching the internet everyday...

and back in 2005.. i bought an 03 KR with 60K on it for 30K
