ESOTF Hub conversion
I have had it withteh auto hubs on my 450, they lock when I do not want them to and unlock when they want to. Question for those who have made the conversion, can the stock Ford hub parts be used? I assume the bearing carrier and hub (locking hub end need to be replaced. The real question is does the outter end og the front axle need to be replaced as well?

just order factory Ford manual hubs and install them.
You could just tread your auto hubs like manual hubs if they're still able to unlock. Just lock them in manually whenever you use 4wd. |

The problem is not that I do nto want to lock or unlock the hubs ( like manual) I do that, the issue is they do not unlock as advertised and is some cases lock when not commanded to.
Heading to Ferd Dealer tomorrow to order the factory parts. |

I'd buy them online. Much cheaper that way

Did you ever order the parts. My truck came with a manual transfer case and hubs and I love it.

Had a bit of a time with my local dealer but I did get everything on order. Figure they will be in after the first of the year. Staying with the electric T-Case for now. 6speed Conversion is in the works, and I'll swap the electric for a Manual.
