Ball joints

Replacing ball joints in my 08 f350 4x4 having hard time getting axle shaft seal out any ideas to get it out thanks in advance

I turn the wheel and get a pry bar on the axle shaft at the u-joint and pry against the axle tube which pushes it out.

Which ball joints did you go with? Also is there anything else one should do while there besides u-joints? Axle seals or anything?

There is a vacuum seal and 2 o-rings on each side that have to be replaced.
