Truck hiccups

Plugged my truck in last night cause the ambient temp was negative 16 Celsius. I started my truck this morning and when it started it would idle normal for two seconds then about every two seconds the throttle would idle down to about 500 rpm for a split second. You could tell the motor was not sounding rough like it does when it's not plugged in so it was really strange. I kinda paniced so I taped the throttle bringing it up to 1000 rpm for about 1 second when I let off it was idling perfect. I thought for a second I saw on the message board the oil can sign which I'm assuming maybe cause it was cold out I had bad pressure for the first few seconds. Since the truck was plugged in right when I started it the ect was 68 and eot was about the same so I don't think oil pressure was an issue. I use 5w40 synthetic oil I change fuel filter every oil change so I'm really curious as to what this could have been. Also there was no smoke of any kind coming out of the exhaust and no diagnostic codes thrown. Thanks in advance for your input
