Unseasonably warm day and more clutch fan revving......

We had an unusually warm day today in Va Beach and my truck decided to hit that hot point where my fan seems to rev up again. It was doing it in the early fall in hotter weather and Ford told me it was a result of the latest flash. They have heard of other complaints. When it is cooler out...I NEVER hear it. Then today it made the revving noise numerous times on the way home. Anyone else have this issue and is Ford going to issue a newer flash to resolve this?

Dropped it off to the shop this morning. I have a bad temperature sending unit....telling the system that it's overheating. It was the clutch fan ramping up to accomodate for the false heating temps.....

oh yea......$400.00 to repair.
