CEL

recently my check engine light came on, i ran a scan and found it was an egt sensor out. week passes by and engine light is off for the next 2 weeks, then it came back on, and now its off again. i havent had a regen cycle come on for about almost 500miles. is this due to the egt sensor? the other night i was going home and had to give it some gas but it seemed like it was struggling and the boost only made it to about 20lbs and stayed their and the exhaust sounded like wit leaking major, like it was gonna blow up. HELP!
