08 king ranch to 09 lariat

Hey guys i am looking at trading my 08 KR with74000 miles for a 09 lariat witg 46000miles on it. My question is are there same problems on 09s as 08s? I had a job one and in the two months i had it wire harness melted, rear end went out and egr clogged. Been in shop as much as i have driven. Let me know what you guys think bout the change for an 09 or will i have same problems. Thanks in advance!

Ryan

I think they fixed most of the bugs on the 09-10 trucks. I haven't had one problem with my 09 w/ 15,400 miles on it. knock on wood.

Its really luck of the draw...my 08 has 140k on it and the biggest problem Ive had was the EGR valve had to be replaced other then that its been a perfect truck.....you might buy the 09 and it might never see the shop or it might be in there just as much as your 08. Chances are you will have much better luck. Just my 2 cents

My opinion is keep your KR eventually you will work the bugs out. I have a job 1 with 80,000 on it and never had a problem knock on wood.
