S1L is where it's at

I tried running S1M that came with the hot damn tune and thought that not shifting into 5th until 55mph would be a waste of fuel. So then I tried the S2M and thought the shifts where too soft and the tc would not lock until 55mph. Loaded S1L this morning and man in my opinion all I can say is wow I love it. Shifts are firm goes into 5th at 45mph under light throttle locks up and cruises.

Do you have to redownload everything or can you just reload the S1L and install it? I'm on S1M right now its ok it shifts through the gears really quick under heavy throttle but I guess it had to when it gets to 85 that quick

I just copy and pasted the S1L file onto the sd card and down loaded the card to the mini max.

You clearly dont live near any mountains. S1L is great in flat land, once you get into mountains it upshifts way to fast if your trying to get some steam rolling into a incline and also it wont downshift to try and pull the inclines and your constantly lugging the engine way down... its terrible. But this, of course, is why H&S is so awesome... they offer the custom tranny tunes for different people living in different terrains so everyone is happy!

What axle you guys running and which version tranny tune version are you on? I have 3.55's on stock 20's, and when I ran .30 Easy tunes with S1L, 4TC was at 35mph (perfect) and 5TC seemed to be up at 51-52mph on light throttle. My problem was I have a lot of 45-50mph driving, so 4TC rpms was up there and i found myself 'speeding' to keep it in 5TC. Same experience as you with the 55mph shift point when I tried S1M. Shifts never smoothed out and were rough. Maybe Easy tunes don't work with anything else other than its default.

I'm now on S2L and it shifts smoooooth and nice for daily driving (to the track of course) . 5TC kicks in at 48mph even when I'm at about 25% throttle and it feels like it lugs a bit. It's perfect on light throttle. But I'm in 5th with no TC driving at 45mph; rpms are a bit high with no load and there seems to be some indecisiveness shifting in and out of TC if I happen to drive around 48mph. It would e great to have a little more 'hysteresis' if that's the term for it.

I was going to try S1L again now that I'm running default 250 tune. I like being able to accelerate like a rocket starting in 4TC
