Winter front.

Well woke up this morning to calgarys first snowfall. Just wondering what other people use for a winterfront. I have the grill inserts but when -40 hits that's not enough. I don't want to get the truck bra that snaps on with buttons. Is there any other creative ideas besides cardboard.

I use the factory vinyl one. Worked pretty good and no snaps. Held on with straps and hooks behind the grille.

Bought the OEM Ford one from the dealership. Cost $135 including tax at Woodridge in Calgary. It seems like it's very high quality. I've only taken it out of it's storage bag as it hasn't really been cold enough to warrant using a winterfront. It has adjustable straps wit hooks on it that attach to the underside of the hood. There are 4 plastic brackets with velcro on them for the side vents. Two for the left side, and two for the right. There's velcro on the back of the winterfront so you can get it level and push out the wrinkles and ensure a tight, weatherproof fit. I'll probably start fussing with it tomorrow though.
