08 F250- Radiator Leak- Any Dealer Reccomendations in Pinellas Area?

I'm a diesel newbie- recently purchased a 2008 F250 w/6.4, really like the truck but..
The dreaded radiator failure finally arrived with just 15,500 miles on the odometer. Started learning about what sounds like a pretty common problem last night reading these great forums. This morning dropped the truck off at a local Ford dealer to have a very small radiator leak checked out. Service advisor calls me with the news that the radiator needs to be replaced and that it isn't covered under the powertrain warranty. I asked about any possible options for help from Ford due to several SA's and TSB's. The service advisor calls back after researching and states warranty won't cover it and none of the TSB's would help. He explained that in addition to the radiator that the hoses, bottle and related pieces should be replaced so it would be "right" with a price of $2,150 or if I only wanted to marginally repair it we could do just the radiator for $1,650.
Ouch, what should this cost? Any chances of Ford helping out a 40 month old truck with 15,500 miles?

Any recommendations on best Pinellas Ford Dealership for diesel work? Thought I had seen someone posting good stuff about Walker..
Thanks for any input,

I live in Largo. I have all my dealer required stuff done at Autoway Ford in St Pete. Every time I deal with Walker they act like a bunch of A**holes. I would just check around. In the end you might be screwed.

i thought i read on here that the radiator was getting covered if it was tied into a distorted thermostat? whole thing is BS, they are crap radiators, FORD knows it , should be a recall item...
