trailer plug question
Ok guys i need your help. I went to hook up the trailer yesterday and when i plug in the trailer it was saying trailer disconnected and then after it was saying wiring fault on trailer. I know its not the trailer because it has worked fine on my truck and it worked fine on my stepdads dodge
. Also it did the same on two other trailers. Any ideas what it could be? A fuse? Any help is appreciated.

I got a prong that light up to check the connections. THere is power to the + terminal and it lights up for the headlights. It appears just the stop and blinkers arent working. I am confused. I am not sure what it is

Are your parking lights working on the truck?

sorry for the dumb question but which are the parking lights?

Marker lights. Turn the headlight switch to the position just before the headlights are on.
Check your fuses. If its showing a trailer fault theres a blown fuse or a short in the trailer wiring somewhere. |

I am not sure which fuse it might be. In the manual the trailer stop/blinker lights is showing a relay. I am not sure if i can check if a relay is bad. I have no idea which fuse it could be |

well it was a fuse. It was a 25 amp fuse for trailer stop/turn relay. Changed it and all the prongs are lighting up.
