dirt in intake tube!!.. HELP!!!

yeah took my filter off and noticed dust in the tube and my map sensor was dirty!.. i want to clean this engine as good as possible so what measures should i take?.. buy a couple changes of the cheapest oil i can find and run each change a 5 minutes and change it?!..

any idea how long you ran that way? you could check the turbo blades for scarfing....wouldn't hurt to change the oil,but the oil filter is there to filter........but i'm curious.....have you been servicing your own air filter ?........did you change to K&N or some other brand.do you still have the O.E.M. CAI ?......what conclusions did you come to ?.....just a poor fit or poor installation?

I would run high quality synthetic oil not cheap crap.

And run a good CAI, not K&N, or stay stock.

stock filter.. i ordered a s&b with oiled filter and filter sock and i drained the oil, refilled with delo and 2 quarts atf,let it run a while then drained that, refilled with synthetic,and changed filter... i'm just scarred of how long it sustained this condition without notice,.. this is on a truck i bought used
