low mileage 08; good idea?

Hi all. New to diesels. I have found a 2008 F250 6.4L that fits my requirements all all accounts. It has 6700 miles on it. Checks out with autocheck and carfax, so seems real.

That means this truck has not been run much in 3 years. Is that cause for concern?

I would think belts and hoses would need to be looked at closely. Coolant would need to be replaced, and maybe even replace the oil cooler straightaway - the thinking being coolant sediment might get pumped into the oil cooler in mass after sitting forever.

Any thoughts on an extrememly low ileage 3 year old???

Thanks in advance.

The biggest concern is that it hasn't had any of the TSB's performed. So an oasis report probably won't show much done, but you never know. It also hasn't proven itself on the road to see if things like the radiator are going to be a problem.

How much of the warranty is left?
