New to 6.4, looking for low smoke tuner/tunes

Just picked up my used 6.4 and have a list of initial things to do:

1. Replace Fuel Filters
2. Oil Filter/Change
3. Tuner w/ DPF Delete or Exhaust
4. EGR delete
5. CCV Reroute

I have the filters and oil already on order so now I'm getting ready for a tuner and dpf/cat delete. I'm debating between the H&S or Spartan (I know both are good), but wondering which of the two has base low/med tunes that produce the least amount of smoke (not 300/310)?

Obviously there will be some, less the better though.

Both should net low amounts of smoke.

I have H&S mini and don't have much to any smoke while normal driving. Even when I hammer down it cleans up super quick. I can't smoke out a lane even if I want to. And since updates are free, I'm really pleased with H&S.

Think that's what I'll do

Short of the higher tunes, Spartan will get you with minimal smoke too.

Congrats on the new ride!

I get them all the time, approximately every 500mi. Not all that bad, just need to know how to handle it.

Bit the bullet today and bought a mini maxx + dpf/doc delete. What tunes are safe to run with just a dpf delete and without an intake? Wasn't planning on running the 250/300 anyway, thinking mild 80/125?

Nm looks like they suggest nothing over mild/80
