Noise like a train!

08 F350 6.4 on start up, usually in the morning on a warm day, when I go to accelerate it makes a loud noise like train. It did this quite a bit during the summer with our 100 plus degree weather down here in Texas. It seems like the cooling fan hasn't caught up with the engine if that makes sence. After about a minute and some constant speed it goes away. Any thoughts and any concerns that I should be looking for. Gonna be pulling my 5th wheel to the lease this weekend and hoping that I don't have anything to worry about. Thanks.

just the fan, its weird but I had the same "problem" a while back and others suggested the fan. Annoying but nothing to worry about...

^^^Yep, just the fan. My 6.0 does that too on hot days when I start pushing her.
